Up until a few days ago Cooper has had several poopy diapers each day. Late last week he only had one poopy diaper, over the weekend he had one on Saturday, nothing on Sunday, and one yesterday.

Is it normal for the number of poopy diapers to change like this? He is gassy, just not poopy.

yep totally normal... as they get bigger they can retain more....i had called my pedi when my dd started that---she averages about 3 poopy diapers a week.

As long as they are not hard stools then everything is fine and normal

same thing happening here. I think I would prefer the every day poop, I think he would be happier, but yes it is every 2-3 days now and then on that day a few poop diapers. And this may be TMI, but it is definitely thicker more like peanut butter consistency.

Yep, normal. Z's starting to skip days now too. Laura's right. As long as the consisterncy is about the same, he's not constipated.

I wish Evie would skip days. She is a poop machine. She has about 3 stinky diapers a day.
