I am so upset right now!!!!
We went to the clinic to get my med protocol and have my training. ( I was wrong, the shots are supposed to start Friday, not today) Well, long story short, they won't let me start the shots until they have the agreement from the lawyer in hand. Remember I told you what an a$$ the lawyer was?
The agreement was supposed to be done in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I called, 4 weeks, 5 weeks...finally after me calling 3 times on Thursday she emailed it to me on FRIDAY at 4:30 saying she was leaving for the long weekend! Even if things were perfect in the contract there was no way we could gotten to her office to sign it by this morning. I tried to read it through (it was all a lot of legal jargon) and there were lots of parts that didn't make sense to me. I emailed it to my best friends husband who is an attorney & he said "Don't sign it! " There is just way too much that doesn't make sense.
So, anyway -the nurse at UCONN (the clinic) was really nice and hugged me. She said we will have to wait until next month - which means the transfer will be on Halloween! DP says this gives Caleb 1 more month to be our "baby". I am just soooo disappointed
Update: DP just called. She had it out with the lawer on the phone!! She claimed she didn't know there was a time constraint.
She was very appologetic on the phone. She wants us to email her our concerns tonight and she will make the changes tomorrow morning. Oh, right, did I mention I am going to Indianapolis tomorrow morning? Well, she said she will fax me the contract in Indianapolis so I can sign it and then I can start my meds on schedule. I'll believe it when I see it.
