I'd thought I'd share some pics of the area up there. These taken several years ago..long before Twilight. Forks is approx 1 1/2 hours from where I lived. I don't have many pics because we were actually on a trip around the penninsula on a motorcylce.

These are from the beach in the movie (at least Twilight, I hear they filmed in Canada for this one)



If I had known a famous movie would be filmed there would have taken better and more of them!

Do you own one or something like that with pedals? Will they actually put their feet on the pedals?

Chase won't even try! He fights us and wants to use his feet on the ground, Fred Flintstone style. It looks so awkward when he's on his trike, but it works okay when he is on his low to the ground hotwheels thing. His legs aren't quite long enough to stay on the pedal when it reaches one point, but he doesn't understand the concept of keeping them there anyway I don't think.

Just curious if your LO has mastered the pedaling thing!

Mary Beth, I think of Kian all the time when I see Chase on his trike and I hear myself saying "Kian's been doing this for a long time now, why won't Chase at least try it?" :L

Where do you hide the Christmas gifts for the LO's? And if your hubby doesn't read this site, do you have a hiding place for his, too? :teehee

Just wanted to let you know that Leo LOVES your siggy pic of Chase with all his cars and trucks lined up! Leo does the same thing with his, only he uses our ottoman (which is nice-- less stepping on them!). Leo was sitting with me when I was reading a thread and he wouldn't let me scroll down until he had looked intently at every single vehicle in that picture. He kept saying, "Whoa, look at that one! Whoa Mommy, look at this one!"
