Hello again!
I took my one hour glucose test today and about twenty minutes in (this was only the 1 hour one) I was feeling deathly ill and by thirty minutes I threw up. I tried to stick it out, but puked two more times in the office before being sent home. Each time I had to throw up I felt like I was going to black out. This happened with my son also, but it wasn't as bad as this. Last time I didn't get really ill until the three hour test.
So I went and ate lunch with my husband and returned to give blood for the Rh antibody screen, but no glucose blood. I am TERRIFIED of having to go through that again...are there any alternatives? I have been dilligent about my diet and have stayed away almost completely from refined sugar. Any thoughts on refusing to take it again or alternative options? Thanks and congrats to all you ladies who made it through this horrid and seemingly medieval way of testing!

Well, passed the glucose test no problem, BUT I am now slightly anemic and have to take iron pills. Which stinks, b/c I am already having poo issues, this is going to kill me. I am going to have to take a little "cocktail" of iron pill, fibercon and colace now. Fun, fun.

Thanks for the support, Ladies.
