Hi all, I'm Beth's SIL. She is in the hospital with her arms full of beautiful babies so I told her I would post.

Gus Kevin and Oliver Ray (Gus and Ollie) were born last night at 10:20 and 10:29pm. yay.gif Beth's BP had been high earlier in the week and her doctor said if it didn't go down with medication he'd admit her and induce her on Friday, and that's what ended up happening. She was able to deliver them both vaginally and everything went beautifully! When I talked to my brother at 11pm he said they hadn't even gotten their weights yet because they had been nursing pretty much since the minute they were born. Yay!!

I'm sure she will post pictures when she can, and if she can't I will do it for her.

Best of luck to all of you with your impending deliveries! Not too much longer now!! :awesome

So I went in for my ob to check me again after "stirring" things up :) I am 1.5 cm dilated now, so .5 a cm in 3 days :( I've lost 2 lbs since last Tue. I had also has some lab work done on Tue, my magnesium, potassium & calcium were all low, so I am now on pills for the potassium & magnesium. She told me instead of making an appt a wk from today, just to keep my appt for next Tue :) Which is fine with me. I think I will have that ob strip my membranes again too. Robert is actually hoping that he comes on Sun that's his bday :)

I also turned in my heart monitor, will probably know the results sometime next week.

"maternity leave"

Well, I do not work full time but I am officially on maternity leave from my 2 days a week that I babysit.

I will miss the girls a lot and got kinda sad thinking it would be a few weeks at least til I get to see them again. They have been driving me crazy lately though, lol so its probably a good thing. The other sitter has them full time now til I decide I am ready to come back, which the more and more I think about might be the whole month of December, because I do not think I can jump back into the babysitting routine during Christmas vacation and have 5 kids to be in charge of.. we will see but that does scare me a lot. lol (It would be Austin, then their 6 year old, their 4 year old, their 2 year old and then of course Emma.. omg, the thought makes me cringe LOL)

Their mom is really sweet and sent me an email about how they will miss me and how she wants to come visit in the hospital and she wants to bring me dinner when we get home.

Next week I have every intention of sleeping as much as I can!!! I can get DS to school and go back to bed! Man, that will be nice!!

It was funny, today I was talking to them about how next time I see them I will have Emma in my arms not in my belly anymore. And I kept saying "baby" to the youngest one. Well, I think we might have a bit of an issue with her because she kept pointing to herself and saying "baby". I just kept teling her no she is a big girl, but she gets very jealous on the days Austin is with me so it might be interesting!! lol
