Ok here is the deal... I have 3 children and recently found out we are expecting again...UNPLANNED but real... My brother and his wife just found out they were expecting 2 months ago, however when they just went for their Ultrasound.... there was no heartbeat....
the sac was there no signs of bleeding, the doctors simply said they don't know what has happened.... My question is, How do I tell them and our family we are expecting again when they just lost their first baby... I am so torn as to what to do... please help...

This is a hard subject to approach but in all seriousness I think I would tell your brother first and let him know you will be telling the family but you really wanted to make sure he was OK and let him know him and his wife will be hearing about it. Of course it will be tough for them, I mean shoot I would love to have another baby and its tough for me to see people and acquaintances pregnant. BUT remember too you have every right to be happy about it, as they have every right to be a little sad about someone so close expecting.

Thanks, I know it's soo hard... I just feel really bad for them, and feel that if I tell them now that we are expecting again that it's just going to upset them... I have a miscarriage myself, so I too know what it feels like, I am very close with my brother. I jsut don't know what to do, and feel so darn bad
I told him in the beginning to wait, not tell anyone they were expecting... I know it's hard not too ,but just because SOOO MUCH can happen, its best to wait... ahhh it's so hard.... but thanks for the advice.. |
