My President's Day Freebie

So I work in lower Manhattan - it was totally empty today. No one had to go work today except for me it seemed. It was eerie because I work in a bustling area of NYC. Even street vendors didnt show up today - bummer!
On Friday, I found a movie rewards coupon in my purse offering a free large drink and free popcorn OR free ticket. I belong to a theater moviewatcher's club. Unfortunately, there is not much worth seeing in the theaters right now and my coupon was to expire on 2/19. So guess what i went to theater tonight and redeemed my ticket for the free drink and popcorn. I simply walked in, presented my coupon, got the goods and walked out. No movie. I just couldn't let my coupon go to waste. The theater is only 1 mile away so I didnt burn a lot of gas doing that.
I am a sucker for a freebie.
