Really want a 2nd child
Posted 08-28-2008 at 12:01 PM by Sean's Mom
I'm 39 years old and am a mother to 21 month old boy. My husband really was hoping for a girl. He loves our son, but I know would love a girl. The problem is that he's happy with one. If someone brings up having a 2nd child, he responds with "unless you can guarantee me a girl...." and calls our son "one and done". I would be happy with either sex, but really long to have a girl. Does anyone have any advice on how to approach this with my husband? He knows that I've been thinking about it and have been researching different non surgical gender selection options.

Have you considered adoption? I mean, you'll be guarenteed a girl and you'll get what you want as well as help a child find a loving home. Just a suggestion.
