Fluke or Miracle?

So Chase is over 11 months old and STILL not sleeping through the night. Ugh. Very rough on a full time employee outside of the home. We used to put rice in his night bottles for months up until he was around 6 months old. He was still waking to eat so I thought, what the heck is the point?
Magically, at 7 months and no rice, he slept through the night!
For a whole 4 weeks it was heavenly.
But alas, that month came to an end and we were back to waking in the night to eat. Sometimes twice. Can you say, kill me now?!
So last night I added a tablespoon plus of rice and voila! Slept through the night. Ahhhhhh.
Wish me luck that this wasn't a fluke and perhaps another rice bottle tonight will work again. I would love for him to learn to go back to sleep without being fed.
Disclaimer: I secretly love holding him at night though since I only see him awake about 3 hours a day.

I know what you mean, Stacey. Sometimes, I will awaken Megan in the middle of the night, just so I can have some alone time with her. She doesn't seem to mind at all.
