Hello and Welcome to Cycle Buddies!

My name is Mandy. Tkeys and I host the Cycle Buddies board in the Pregnancy & Baby Dust Forum at She Knows. In June 2007 my husband and I began “TTC” after one month, and a “BFN” I felt totally lost and went online to find articles, advise, anything! Through Google I came across Sheknows. What a blessing it has been! It truly has kept me sane during what has become a long process.

Most “newbies” have a lot of the same questions. I decided to put together this info sheet to try and answer most of them. If you have any other questions at all, please feel free to email me at mk9906@roadrunner.com

1. Come again??
One of the most confusing and frustrating things for new forum members is the lingo! As a group, we’ve come up with a great cheat sheet! Visit Learn Our Lingo it can also be found at the top of the cycle buddies board.

2. Making a siggy
A lot of us cycle buddies have a “siggy” attached to each of our posts. It is our “signature”. To create one
A. Login To SK
B. Go to MY SK at the top of the page
C. Choose “edit signature” along the left side[/
D. In the box that pops up type what you’d like to be attached to your posts.
E.You can even add pics to your siggy! Follow the uploading pics instructions from this point

# 3. Uploading Pics
To upload pictures to SK you will need a file hosting website. Most of us use Photobucket because it’s free, easy, and reliable.
A. Go to www.photobucket.com
B.Register, it’s free and they don’t email you stuff
C. Follow the instructions to upload a pic from your computer
D. When it’s uploaded, 4 boxes will appear below your pic
E.“COPY” the IMG code
F. Come back to SK
G. Simply paste that code in the message or siggy box!

# 4. How do I get a PM box?
A PM box (private message box) is basically like having email through SK’s site. You must have 100 posts before a box can be activated for you. Once you reach 100 posts simply ask Tkeys or me to get you a box.

# 5. Cool custom siggy
There is a board on Sheknows where ladies will make a free custom siggy for you. They have made several for me, they are so adorable. Visit the Custom Signatures board at SK. Start a new thread called “Siggy Please” and tell them what you want. You can upload pics for them to use, tell them your favorite colors, and ask for a theme. Once your siggy is made they will post it in the thread you started. Right click it, choose “save as”, then follow the steps above (FAQ # 2 & 3) to get it in your SK siggy!

Hey Ladies!

I'm so glad I found this website! I have been TTC since last month. This is my second cycle TTC. I'm 2dpo. I had an ovarian ultrasound last week that revealed that I ovulate early (CD11). My Dr. prescribed 200mg of Prometrium for CD13-25 to help build my uterine lining.

I took my first Prometrium pill today and OH BOY! Felt like I was drunk and VERY sleepy! I sure hope this helps me get pregnant!

Can't wait to meet everyone one and share our TTC stories

	Here goes nothing! I've been reluctant for some reason to post on a website, but I was diagnosed with PCOS in April, 2007, TTC since October, 2007. I was just surfin' the net tonight while my hubby is at work and found this site. I've already felt comforted reading some of the postings here! I'm hoping I can contribute and talk to fellow ladies TTC
