I'm on day five of my Provera and I have to go pick up my Clomid today before they put it back on the shelf. My boobs hurt like cRaZy (sorry I know it's TMI) and I'm starting to feel the period pains.
I went out this past weekend with some friends, had a couple of drinks (of course I took like 5 pregnancy tests before deciding to drink that night) and had loads of fun. I haven't done that in a while. Not that I mind because I would trade in partying anytime for having a baby but just because I'm trying to have a baby doesn't mean that I should give up on life and living it.
I found out last week that my SIL who is currently pregnant had a scare the other day at the clinic. She went in to get an ultrasound done and that day was also the first time they would be able to listen to the baby's heart beat. After the doctor rubbed some of that jelly stuff on her belly he tried looking for the baby but found no sign of the baby or a heart beat. My SIL almost lost it. The doctor then suggested doing a V-ultrasound just in case she wasn't as far along as they all thought. Sure enough as soon as he did the V-ultrasound he found the heart beat and the little sac. She found out that she was only one month along and not two and half. I am glad that it was just a mistake in gestation period instead of a possible early miscarriage. My mom had the same problem when she was pregnant with my little brother. They had thought he was six months along and he was small for that and could possibly have DS but after doing an emergency ultrasound they determined he was only four months and was the perfect size so his risk of being born with DS was much less.
I am still praying for a healthy mature egg. Counting down the days 'til I see the RE again.
