I had the TR done by Dr. Berger at Chapel Hill in NC... he has a web site, where many of his patients talk on a message board. He is a wonderful doctor, and his staff is great.
Because of the way he cuts you, recovery isn't bad at all... I got pg my first cycle after surgery, but it was an ectopic... BUT my body tends to swell alot and I think that I tried to get pg too soon. The rest of the story for me, has nothing to do with the reversal or Dr. Berger. I would make sure you and hubby get testing done first though, tests that are not required, but would save you heartache... have his sperm checked (even if he has kids) get your hormone levels checked including FSH, I would get an account on Fertility Friend, and keep track of a couple cycles with temping to make sure you are O'ing and get a good idea how your cycle works. I would do this while waiting for surgery... sometimes women don't do this stuff, pay for the surgery, and then find out they have problems or hubby does and end up paying for IVF after all. Good luck ![]() |
