Patience???

Anyone that knows me know that I am, by far, one of the least patient people in the world. The internet has spoiled me, DVR/On Demand is my best friend, and I have a love affair with overnight shipping. So this two-week wait business? Let's just say if we were to meet in a dark alley somewhere there would only be one of us leaving....and I'd put my money on me.

I'm not infertile (that I know of, managed to get pregnant with my son WHILE ON birthcontrol, thanks gallbladder!) but trying to get pregnant has turned into a science experiment - and we're only on the first cycle! My wonderful husband was sick on the day before and of ovulation and when I think of how badly I wanted to tell him to suck it up and go for it I want to laugh - there will be other months if it didn't work, right?

Well, yes, but I'm too busy looking at the chart, calculating that ok - we did it THREE days before ovulation and five days before...and six and seven....and he thinks that the little guys can live for fourteen days...so we should be good, right?

Let's hope so.

Until then, I'll surf the internet, looking at other happy stories, baby gear, and trying to get through the next eight days (what? 10DPO is too soon to test really? Too bad!) and keep my prayers to the universe going. And if not...there's always next month.
