Movie Review - Day of the Dead 2008

Yes yes yes I am a Horror Fan so this remake I just had to see.
It pretty much strays from the original story so if your looking for a different plot this is it. This also stars Nick Cannon and Ving Rhames. The Main character is this blonde who I am sorry I cant remember her name cause shes more or less a nobody star wise, but she has been in plenty of movies so you totally reconize her.
The story bases around a town that is under lockdown via the Military and all heck breaks loose from there. Everyone has some cold-like sickness that turns bad. Your basic zombie movie and definately some gory parts to keep you going. No-Name actress whos the main character is trying to keep her family safe , whos family is ticked at her for joining the army in the first place.
Key Moments: I guess maybe only I can truely appreciate this nerdy just in the army kid, who is totally in love with the girl, gets bitten, yet remains a good little zombie and still puts the puppy dog eyes on her. He tries to help them even though he is a zombie (but was a vegetarian when he was alive maybe thats why he isnt eating thier faces off?) and meets his demise when the other zombies see he is trying to help the people (and the blonde).
I am not sure if this is coming to theatres or straight to video, but if you like zombie movies, its OK
