Tgif?

Taking my car to fletchers this afternoon. I am still stoked that I found someone to trade my van for a car, and a car 5 years newer at that! I just hope I didn't get hosed repair wise, but my awesome in-laws are paying for my tune up as a birthday present which is really nice! I just hope they don't take 10 years to fix it because apparently they are known for taking a bit, and that they can give me a ride home, supposedly they do so I have my fingers crossed because I will have Nic with me.

Lets see here its friday, I have to finish laundry today because I dont want to do it all weekend. clean Nic's room finish my decluterring of my kitchen (I am currently going through all the drawers and cupboards. Any excess stuff I dont use is either going to a yardsale pile, trash pile or shelfed in the garage because its usable but not that much, oh and a freecycle pile. We literally have 3 different containers full of odds and ends on one of the counters its nuts! going to tackle the oven also today.

Tonight I just want to kick back, relax and finish my rag quilt and start on my other. I am using reds/maroons/pinks/purples those types of shades for this new quilt of mine. I had a lady give me 10 boxes of very nice high end fabric samples! and we're not talking small boxes either! I think I have 5 or 6 still in my spare room I haven't taken apart! Some of the fabric is listed at over 100$ a yard and theres allot of gorgeous 100% silk ones that I am trying to figure out what to do with them. either way lotsa quilts and I am going to take them to this wonderful lady at this local boutique she offered to display and consign them there so I am stoked. I also sold a baby quilt this week and have another already cut, and just needing to be sewn. I just want to kick back relax and do that most of the weekend. My only quirk with my quilting is i love to watch TV while doing it but I used a machine, so I literally take up the love seat while sewing everything and my couch is oh so lovely at catching hold of any foreign object be it pet hair, fuzzies or threads from my fabric.

Did I mention I am tired? HA and mariah is going to her first get-together at a friends house tonight. Her friend is a good kid thank god and they are friends via the karate school Mariah goes to.

So while its Friday it seems that I still have so much to do! I am considering doing the flylady system again. I swear it keeps me from the slumps thats for sure and good if you suffer from depression but can follow it since she encourages you be completely dressed down to your shoes! AND has wonderful tips on cleaning your home and tackles a zone each week LOVE HER.
