18dpo turns to CD1

Finally. I cannot tell you how hard it has been waiting for this inevitable but needed conclusion. At least I know something definitively.

It's going to be a long few months waiting for June so that we can get on to IUI #2. I'm excited but tired of waiting around.

Just to get it off of my chest and be done with it: I hate that my charting software automatically popped up a little chicky to indicate possible pregnancy this morning when I hit 18dpo with no AF. I knew better but my heart really wanted that little chick to be real and meaningful. Damn artificial intelligence. The stupid software tries to think for you and does a really shitty job of it and leaves another little hole in your heart. AF showed up this morning (at work, of course.) I wonder how long it will take for it to really sink in and leave me a blubbering mess? Ah well, what can you do? Pick up the pieces and move on, I suppose.

Ok, back to work.
