After D & C

Ladies,
I got a scan on 25/2/2008 and it showed a normal pregnancyat 5wks and 4days. After , i was very busy but normal then i started getting some small bleeding for two times. When i went for another scan, i was told the featus had died at around 6wks.I had a D& C on june 10th,2008.Am just wondering what happens after D& C? The Dr. who worked on me told me that he found old products of conception fighting to come out but the cervix wasnt opening till the time of D & C. When should i expect to start my cycles again? Does any one out there have an idea on this. Am desparate i want to conceive again.
I became normal like no more pain, no bleeding after 2days . On the 6th day, we started business (ttc). After feeling like signs of pg, i checked on monday 23/6/08 using a home HCG kit and it was negative.My HCG levels had gone back to zero.
Please advise this was my first pregnancy.
