Just Found Out

I found out I was pregant in the bathroom of P&C after using a sippy cup from the floor of a friend's car floor. Bought the test at the local Dollar Tree.

I did two drops in the test and the test came up positive almost instantly. For kicks I added the rest and the lines just got reallllly dark. For sure, it said I was pregnant.

I did the testing because I have been having horrible, long lasting cramps for over a week. The kind I usually get right before I start my period, but so far, no period, so I figured I was late and better check things out. We certainly aren't not wanting a baby.

I went to the daddy's work place and while he was on a business call, I set the test under his "nose"...well, that phone call ended. He seemed pleased.

I proceeded back to work. Told the world, only to find out that the daddy wasn't ready to tell the world until after we came back from our honeymoon (oh, yeah, we get married in 10 days from the testing day)...so, now people that might tell his family knows... My friend Jessy is 10 weeks pregnant. She is tickled about us being pregnant at the same time.

I made an appointment with my doctor/friend, who was very excited to hear about this and got right into to see her. The entire staff was excited to hear and all was present when the doctor put the drops into the testing thingy...within seconds, like my own test, it came up positive. She said I was VERY PREGNANT!!! At that very moment, my daughter, who saw my car in the parking lot, had come in and heard the conversation and found out her "virginish" mom was pregnant before the wedding!!! Small towns, small doctor offices, big ears. She was happy for me....we instantly went to Kmart and bought a week-by-week book.

Told my friend Betty about the baby pending, and my boss, who wasn't present yesterday afternoon. I have been having a "pain in my butt" for several days too. Upon reading my new book, I find that some of my symptoms lead me to think that maybe I am 8 weeks along. My last period might have been even while I was pregnant. That would be cool. 3 weeks less to be pregnant and waiting.

I wish I had known a longer time ago. I just discovered whisky sours. At my age, and discovering those and taking my pain meds for my car accident my newly driving daughter got me into in Dec., leaves me at a high risk for a miscarriage.

I finally talked my future husband into letting our friend know about the baby. He hid a note in my bouquet that my mom brought down, remember, I am now getting married in one week. She was happy for us. She adopted a baby 2 years ago and now wants another one. She can't have her own. We freaked out my mom. My daughter and I held up the book I have and told her to guess who!!!! She was not a happy looking person. She is 16 and I am not married...none were good.

K, this is what I will call my daughter, took the 1st picture. Unfortunately, I already have a It looked more like a saggy thing. It's pretty gross..never lost the flab from her birth.

K is mad because we were going to take her to disney world for her senior trip as a family. She likes to go on rides with me...were great togehter that way. She'll just have to wait until after her senior year.

We, K and I, also told our friend Pam...her daughter is 8 weeks along.
