A good life...
New year, new blog!
This picture seems like a fitting start for a blog titled "Top of the World."

We visited family in Colorado over the holidays and got this shot at Loveland Pass (almost 12,000 feet). That was a scary drive! Snowy roads, sheer drops right at the edge of the road and... NO GUARDRAILS. Crazy! My 11 year old was - rightfully - petrified. You'll observe she is not in the photo. Also missing: Baby boy. He stayed snug in the van with his big sis while we slipped and slid across the road to get a photo taken by the sign.

That's a beautiful picture! Unfortunate that you couldn't get the other two little ones to join you.
I've been to Colorado myself, and visited Telluride and did a similar trip, but in the summer where it wasn't nearly as scary! Happy New Year to you and your family. |
