Just an opportunity to post stories and photos of the girls, so friends and family can keep up with us.
Ahhhhhh...

C is ransacking K's room while she and Dad are at Kindermusik. I am enjoying some peace and quiet except knowing that my work is getting harder with every toy thrown. I just needed a little time off, so I should type quickly.
K talks ALL THE TIME, never stops. She's pretty funny at times, but sometimes the nonstop chatter wears on a person. Obviously C rarely allows herself to be set down, even at night.
K's been asking a lot about death lately, specifically questions like, "how old do you have to be to die?" and "where do you go when you die?" and always after I answer, she tells me she doesn't want to die. It's horrible to even contemplate, so then I appreciate my time with them even more.
To get past the Debbie Downer stuff, let me tell you what K said right before she and the hubby left. "Did you hear that, mom?" "No, I didn't, what?" "You can't take that medicine because you're bweastfeeding. Maybe when C is one." Some drug company had been going through all their do not take if...stuff, so she had picked up on it.
As for C, we went shopping for birthday supplies today while K was at preschool. She was calling every stuffed animal she saw a "kitty" and I was telling her what they really were. As we were paying, the women at the counter were going on and on about how smart she was. Maybe I am used to K, but she only said the word kitty and she was wrong about 95% of the time. It didn't seem like something to gush over. I still felt proud, though. At Panera today, the girls at the counter kept going on and on about how cute she was, too. I guess it was C's turn for compliments this morning.
She got bored and is back on me, so I need to stop going on.
