One of Each, Being Funny

I normally like to wait till the hubby is home from work to take a shower because it's hard to find a chance with someone who doesn't like to sleep or be put down. Yesterday morning, I had some extra time, and the monkeys were playing nicely together. I told K I was going to take a shower, but left the door open in case they needed something (no, she still can't open doors).

I was showering away, when I heard a little *splish splish* sound. I pulled back the shower curtain to find that the Rock Star has exchanged the cat bowl for the toilet bowl. She had a little plastic cup from the sink and had filled it up from the toilet and was getting ready to drink. For my sanity, I'm going to pretend that I caught her before she'd had a chance to drink any.

Tonight while I took a bath and the hubby was watching the girls, K yelled hey at hubby. He replied as all good midwesterners would, "Hay is for horses and also for cows. Pigs don't eat it, because they don't know how." Shortly afterward, K said, "Hay is for horses and also for cows. Pigs don't eat it, what the HELL?"

As I read this back over, I'm sensing a trend to keep me from being clean. Darn these kids, anyway.
