I made a trip to L&D last night, I had been cramping since yesterday at noon and by 5, I couldnt take anymore, I decided to go in (remember my doctor is 1.5 hours away) so the ride completley sucked! I get there, they hook me up and the monitor showed nothing. Ugh, so here I am in horrible pain and nothing shows on the monitor. The doc checked me and only a fingertip dialted, which is great since its still early. They left me for a while and I fell asleep, when I woke back up, the contractions hit again and the monitor was now picking some up. I ended up having a shot to stop the contractions and a steriod for babys lungs and sent me on my way. I've been miserable today, I dont remember having cramps like this with my girls. Its contstant in my back and comes in goes in my stomach, feels just like the most horrible menstrual cramps I can ever imagine, but Im just glad that baby is ok and hopefully he will continue to cook a few more weeks.
