I notice when I am lurking on due date boards or born in boards that there seems to be a lot of people having bigger families these days. 3 Kids is basicly the norm now. 4 kids doesn't seem as crazy and well 5+ I am seeing more and more.
I know with me and my dh we never planned to have 6 children. We did want a "big" family but big to us was THREE!!
Every commercial I see now etc... when showing families it is always with THREE KIDS and always either 2 boys one girl or two girls one boys. Not often 3 boys or 3 girls though.
And I am always surprised by post about having one more baby with the responses of families wanting 4 or more.
Don't get me wrong I think large families ROCK
but I am wondering what is up?? PG is in? Babies are in??
And the funny thing is, although I have 6 kids of my own when I hear or see someone else who has that amt or even 5 kids I automaticly think WOW that is a LOT OF KIDS!! because to ME mine don't seem like that many...
they are just my rugrats, I don't notice there are 6 of them.
I also wonder if I had my little kids younger if I would have had more.... but that is just probably my crazy talk because Ameline is 14months old today and usually I am either pg already for the next one
or it could be the pg dreams I keep having lately where I am either pg and not wanting to know the gender but the u/s clearly shows me the boy parts, or the other dream where I don't want to find out gender but I have had IVF and only girl embies survived to be transfered LOL. I also keep dreaming of this little blond boy name Jack........ and in the dream I love him so much. (I usually dream my children before I have them... they are usually boys(only dreamed a girl with Ameline) so this could explain this behaviour!
And I COULD name more kids A names easily. I have a slew of good ones left.
That said, I have NO baby fever at all, or desire to be pg EVER again. I took Ameline's bottle away tonight and she went to sleep better than she has in weeks.
and I feel HAPPY to have another baby thing DONE. So..... I don't know what my point is LOL just my rambling.
