Default Switching formula

I'm a little worried that I may be changing formula too much, even though the doctor says it's ok. Julian started out on similac advance in the hospital, and had his situation with bloody stool, which they think was caused by the formula. So when I brought him home, I switched him to similac with iron at the doctor's suggestion. This formula gave him diarrhea, so I tried the Nutramigen that my sister gave me. Now he's constipated! Poor kid, just can't seem to adjust to it right. So now I'm getting ready to try similac sensitive at the doctor's suggestion. Hopefully it works for him, but doesn't it shock their system to keep changing their formula? I just hope the similac sensitive works for him and we don't have to switch AGAIN!!
