Did you try laying on an ironing board on a slant? Sometimes you can get the baby to come out of the pelvis that way. It is uncomfortable...but it sometimes works.
I guess if you know ahead it is easier to come to peace with it, but I was thinking about c-sections today and I wouldn't be afforded the "luxury" of recovering afterward. Dh and I were remembering yesterday how after our 3rd was born, and we got home the day after, his boss called and said that he needed to come to work even though he had taken the week off. So he got one day off when I had the baby...and his boss called and said "congrats. so can you come in to work soon?" And then the day I came home which was the next day- he had to go to work.

They could have managed without him for a few days! We literally got home, ate lunch and then he was off to work from like noon- 6. So if I had a c-sec, I would have no recovery time at all. Apparently they don't think that even with a vag delivery that you need some help! You guys are lucky if you do get some time to recover! So no c-section for me!
And like I won't need help after with FOUR kids! (my mom will be here but I want my dh too!)
