I had my consultation today with the "baby flipping doctor" and she pretty much convinced me that a c-section is probably the right way to go. She said she would try the version if I really wanted her to but said that she didn't think it looked too favorable for success. While I have enough amniotic fluid for the baby, there isn't an excess of it and she said that more fluid is better for versions. She compared my fluid to a bath rather than a swimming pool and said that swimming pools are better. She also said that the baby's butt is pretty engaged in my pelvis and that makes it more difficult because it's hard to get it out of there. There was alot of information but I left her office feeling comfortable with having a c-section so when I have my weekly appt with my regular OB on Friday I'll see about getting a date scheduled at the hospital. And the baby is measuring about 6 lbs 12 oz right now so she's pretty much completely out of space in there anyway.
