Default New... kind of...

Hi - I was a frequent member here back in 2005/2006 while I went through my 2nd pregnancy and for a while after my 2nd son was born. I found this board again recently as I'm working very hard at convincing my husband to try for #3 - in hopes of a GIRL this time!!! I love my 2 handsome boys to the moon and back but I just feel as though something is missing. For a while, I said NO MORE kids because if it were a 3rd boy, I didn't know if I could handle hearing that again. I've recently gotten to the point where if I can do everything in my power to try for a girl and it still is a boy - it must mean that I'm better suited as a Mom to boys and I really think I could be at peace with a 3rd boy. HOWEVER, I am trying for that girl. My husband isn't quite as excited as I am, he would be perfectly happy with just the 2 we have but I have a feeling he'll give the go ahead anyway. I've read about all the diet changes, dietary supplements, etc. and I've already started taking the cranberry capsules and calcium/magnesium supplements. He's activated in the Army and will be returning mid-October, coincidentally 4 days before I should ovulate if I keep on the same course I've been following lately. I figure if he says OK, I'll start the 'girl diet' through September and October. According to the Chinese Gender Charts, conceiving in October this year should also produce a girl.

While I still haven't gotten hubby's complete go ahead, I'm crossing everything I can cross and really wishing and praying that we'll be blessed next summer with a little girl.
