I'll wait till closer to 6 months to try out other foods...I dont like to mess with their digestive systems. Both of my older boys had food sensitivites...diarrhea and rashes, and they werent too interested in eating. My mom and MIL are anxious to be able to feed Josiah though, so they my "push" me into trying stuff sooner (push in a nice way
I like my MIL and mom). My nieces and nephews have food allergies/sensitivities and my boys seemed to have fruit sugar sensitivities, so they'll understand if I wait - I hope! OH - rice cereal was very hard on my first son...I totally skipped it with my second (it made him gassy/constipated). We didnt really do the cereal at all....well, we didnt really do baby food either, LOL, just waited till they could actually eat food
