It is a good thing that the baby was fine despite your stress!

That is good to hear. Sorry you had to wait so long. I always have to wait FOREVER at the kids' doctor appts and it stinks...every time they go we all end up sick. LOL No wonder I only go once a year! HAHA Luckily with this mw I have, there are minimal waits. I think 15 minutes was the longest I waited, and even to see the dr- it isn't bad. The office used to be busier at the other place but I wonder if he lost some people when he moved to the new location. I remember because I was seeing the 2 midwives, and he was the only dr there but people seeing him were waiting and when I went, I would wait maybe 20 minutes. And you actually get to see the mw for more than 5 minutes.
I know it is so frustrating though- not for OB stuff- but with the kids- it usually takes about 2-3 hours, you see the dr. for 5, maybe 10 minutes and then you get a nice huge bill. Gee thanks. That is annoying! And if you have to take time off work on top of that, it is worse.
But it is a good thing you are ok, the baby sounds fine.
LOL about the Elaine on Seinfeld thing! Sometimes I feel like that too.
