Well, she said it's better to let them free now that they are more active for physical development (mainly rolling), and since they will be rolling over in their sleep soon, they will sleep much better on their tummies once they can roll.
I love my pedi, and I usually agree with everything she says, but I think I'm going to swaddle a little longer. I tried a nap unswaddled yesterday, and she screamed for 40 minutes. I swaddled her and she was out in 2 minutes. Also last night, swaddled, she slept 12 hours! The first time ever! So I don't think I'm messing with that. A friend of mine (also a nurse) made a good point... as long as she is unswaddled during the day and getting her tummy time, she should be developing just fine.
Karina, how did you do the transition? Did Artem have a hard time at first?
