That's awesome that your stepkids got you a card. I'm still really close with my stepson from my first marriage. I was married to his dad from when he was 4 until he was 8. Then I watched him on the weekends while his mom worked until he was 12. Ironically, I've become good friends with his mom and now both of our families are really close. (My ex....well, that's another story.) DSS is now 16 and even though we don't live in the same state any more, he still spends a few weeks with us in the summer each year. He was the first person to call me on Mother's Day. He's just a really great kid. Anyway, I know that was WAY off topic. I swear if I don't get to feeling well enough to get out and about soon I'm going to lose my mind!!!
