Well we had our little guy last Saturday, May 3rd. I tried and tried to access SK from the hospital but I think it must have been blocked for some reason.

Anyway, if you missed it--I went to the doctor on Friday and had an u/s. They estimated baby's weight to be 10 lbs. 3 oz., so they gave me the option of being induced or having a c-section. We talked about it a lot with two of the doctors at the practice and they were afraid that since he was such a big guy, we might try and try to labor and that he would get stuck, risking brain damage, etc. Anyway, long story short, we opted for the c-section.

So we went in Saturday morning and all went very, very well and Caleb Elias was born at 10:20 a.m. weighing in at 9 lbs. 12 oz. and measuring 21.5 inches in length! I was very glad I didn't try to deliver him.

We've been home since Tuesday and we're all doing well. I'm surprised at how well I'm feeling and how well our daughter is handling it all. She's definitely acting "starved for attention" in a few ways, but she is SO so proud of her little brother. It's Baby Caleb this and Baby Caleb that. Very sweet.

Here are a *few* pictures! We just absolutely adore Caleb. He is a fantastic eater and sleeper. He slept for 6 hours straight last night! I seriously felt like a million bucks when I woke up! All right, pictures!
