I read that thread and it definitely brought a smile to my face. I kind of feel like we know what its like to experience the pain of loss, and also the joy of good news. We just had a couple from our church, who are both in their mid 20's like my wife and I, who just lost their baby at 7 weeks. Obviously our hearts just broke for them. I never knew how complicated and emotionally draining a pregnancy could be but I'm sure this fall I'll figure out how its all been worth it. I'm pretty sure I'll be a typical guy and it wont sink in until the baby is actually born. I work for a chemical company and spend my days talking with mechanics and engineers and I've seen some pretty tough guys get emotional when I talk to them about their kids being born. Well..a few more weeks to go until the mystery is solved..(come on baby boy..ah who am I kidding, I'll be thrilled either way)
