I had them since 20 weeks with both pregnancies and more than four and hours after drinking water and resting or laying on your side.....then call the doctor. I guess water and rest should make them stop or become less frequent.Both pgs they have checked my cervix early because i have atleast 3 but mostly 4 an hour everyday. Mine aren't painful, just your text book BH. At my 32 week appointment and my 28 week appointment my cervix was hard and closed It is really hard to gauge I am sure since everyone's body does it differently.

Keep track of them and if you feel any concern.....call your doctor or advice nurse if you have one.
