I was paranoid with Zoie, she slept in the crook of my arm on her back for the first 4months! MY sholder was so sore! When we finally moved we were able to get her in a crib and let her sleep however she wanted. JSYK I didn't let ANYONE touch her for the first few days (even poor dh had a hard time getting me to let him have her LOL) and she wasn't allowed around kids LOL, I was a young first time mommy

With Magi, she hated sleeping on her back! I would swaddle her and put her in the sleep positioner on her side until she could roll on her own then she slept however she wanted to.

With Xander (really bad reflux-even still) he was swaddled, in a sleep positioner on an incline on his back or sides until he could sit up on his own LOL - I tend to be a little over protective of him too

I think I will do the same with Avy, she will be swaddled and in a sleep positioner on an incline on her back or sides until she can roll over or has good head controle, Just because it makes me feel better LOL
