Default Re: Is this NORMAL???

Maybe it's a fifth baby thing? This is my fifth pregnancy, and the first time I've had swelling in my feet/ankles. Mine look just like yours. Even the tops of my feet are swelling and it feels like they will pop open when I walk. ugh. I had a little ankle swelling at the very end (I was already past my EDD) with my first and I thought that was bad, but this is ridiculous. I have one pair of flipflops I can wear and that's IT. Even my "big" flats I usually wear to church at the end of my pregnancies cut my feet first thing in the morning and don't fit at all by lunchtime. I was a little worried, too, since my feet are still swollen in the mornings (but not my ankles, usually), but my doc says it's fine. I'm drinking about a gallon of water per day to try to help and I've reduced my junk food (sodium) intake, but I think I'll just be swollen till I deliver. Oh well.
Try to keep your feet up, it seems to help a little. At least you know you're not the only one!!
