Re: 2 Year Check Up
Hi Lisa! Hang in there. I have some petite ones also. There 2 year check up is coming up and I am dreading it. I had Quinn on the scale yesterday and she was 19.2 lbs ughhhhhhhhh. And I know your frustration....you can't force feed them either. I have tried everything....EVERYTHING!
Our issue now is that we still have one more bottle to get rid of and they still won't drink milk from anything else. They will drink water from sippies but not milk...go figure. Also we have entered the picky stage...I go out of my mind making 4-5 different meals at each feeding with little results....I try to introduce new foods in small bits with some familiar foods. But they revert back to the same things....mac and cheese, spaghetti o's, crackers , cheese curls.............ALL CRAP FOODS! (thanks to grandma)
The weight issue has been my biggest worry everyday. I have run out of ideas and feel desperate. So I do sympathize with you.
I am actually thinking of requesting a Nutritionist this next visit because I just don't know what else to do.
Hugs Laura
