Icon7 I'm Better Today

Sorry for not being around much yesterday. After the arms and BP scare in the night (night before last) I woke to good BP and sore arms and shoulders - confirming what I figured out that morning; that I had overdone it on cleaning by washing walls in my bathroom. I felt ok that morning and ran errands, but no plans of cleaning yesterday. All was going well, I had taken my morning meds and did the post office, bank, Walmart run; then came home for lunch. Had my sandwich once Ava drifted off for her nap, then I laid down with her. Took my mid-day meds first in case she slept long - like she had been doing. She woke up an hour and a half later. I woke up feeling like I was on some kind of tranquilizer drug. I swear I could barely keep my eyes open all afternoon and by 4 pm I was just watching the clock and praying Ava would be ready for bed early.

Talked to DH about how I was feeling and he thinks and I agree that I ended up with too much BP medicine in me for yesterday - midnight dose, morning dose and then an early afternoon dose all too much too close together - especially since I woke up to BP readings at 130/80 to start with.

I've only been up now for an hour and a half, and I'm already drowsy again - although I did wake up refreshed at 7:30 am. Haven't even taken my BP or my meds yet, but I can tell that my BP must not be up. I will likely take it easy again today and not go to DH's this week at all. He will be disappointed, but he will understand and not want me to push myself. He'll be in on Saturday afternoon and I hate for him to miss seeing Ava for 5 full days, but I also can't risk making myself sick by pushing my limits.

Anyway, just wanted to give you all an update. Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes.
