Ditto to newbiettc I'm a "Missourian" too

Grew up in the suburbian st. louis area - went to college, came back to stl.

DH and i got our first house a bit west of where i grew up (same general stl area) DH grew up more outside of stl and never liked living so quite in the suburbs. (He grew up on 6 acres so used to some space)

so now we're a little further out, pretty much right where he grew up but at least in a subdivision but it's pretty spread out so good deal. He has space and i'm at least within 15-20 mins of decent shopping / grocery / whatever

Although despite not moving around much I've visited almost all the continental states, and DH spent a lot of time in san diego and loved it so if it ever is possible / see what happens w/ our business, we may at some point end up out around there. I'd be glad to not have ick winters anymore
