Sorry to hear about DH Grandfather..
I'm sure if your only flying one province over ... the plane will probably not gain too much altitude and the flight would be short enough that if labour started... you'd be landed in time.. I would first check with the ob and then call the airlines.. It wouldn't hurt to check out WestJet and Air Canada's website (I think their smaller commuter planes are called Jazz or Tango or something)
I'm not sure about the hemeroge thing... again...the altitude probably isn't going to be that high if you are just going between provinces -higher than the rockies of course : )
I would think sitting on a greyhound for 8 or 9 hours and bumping around and being on the transcanada would be more of a risk for a pregnant lady in her 9th month...but that's just me.
