Hey all....I am new to this message board and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Christy. I am 30 years old. My husband and I have been married for about a year and a half but have been together for 9! The one thing I always knew was that I wanted to be a mom. I also knew since I was a young girl that once I came to this part in my life that it was going to be a challenge. I just had my first IUI on March 30th! So as of today I am 9dpiui! This 2ww is crazy. I did 14 days of injectables (menopur) and on day 14 I had five very good sized eggs. It was very exciting to hear this news since this was our first try. I had done 4 rounds of clomid over the past year and did not ovulate once. So you could only imagine the relief I felt on friday 3/28 when the doc told me I was ready to go! Got my trigger shot that night and had the IUI on Sunday! Being that this is my first round I am trying to not get my hopes up but it is so hard. I have been looking at this message board for weeks and finally decided to join. The support you all offer each other is amazing and I really would like to be a part of it.
I will keep you all posted and pray for a BFP next week!
