Jen, what a great article! I, too, think you can't impress the importance of saying I'm sorry - and I'll add to it for a family, saying I love you! Helping kids understand the intrinsic bond that a family carries and how each and every one of our actions is a window for the universe to view our family. Adding also that it's ok to screw up, forgiveness, and then the learning from the action to not repeat the mistake is key.
