The blood test is most likely for progesterone which will indicated if you O'd (short for ovulated)
S/E = side effects and yeah clomid can have a lot of those - not fun...... And it does take a good while for the medicine to get out of your system so the side effects can be worse / still continue once you stop taking it. Some people get them worse than others. Since it does try and stimulate the ovaries, that's prob. what the fullness / ovary pain comes from
