Thank you so much everyone, I do have an update!!!

Skyelar (I spelled her name wrong before!) had an AMAZING day yesterday. She had surgery on Saturday and the first 72 hours were the most critical. She is so strong, she made it through all of that when the doctors and nurses did not think she would. Yesterday (Wed.) she was improving so they took her off of the coma medication and she opened her eyes! She even grabbed Amanda's brother's finger and was holding it and kicking her legs. They said her brain activity is improving but that they don't want to push it too much at this point. It will continue to be a rollercoaster but things are really looking up. What a strong little peanut. I have been praying SO much and I just believe deep in my heart she is going to be a miracle baby. The pressure in her brain (I believe thats what the one monitor is for) is supposed to stay below 20. On Sunday, it had shot up to 37 when they were aspirating her. Yesterday, her levels were down to between 3 and 4 and when they aspirated her, she only went up to a 7! I don't want to get ahead of myself because I know anything could happen but I can't help but be overjoyed at her progress! I truly believe the prayers are working.
