Default Re: March G/L Prego/Parents Chatty

Shannon - Congratulations, hope to see you chatting here soon!

Patty - you are so right, bad napping does seem to mean a bad night of sleeping. My DP and I always say when it comes to babies "sleep begets sleep". The days Mason napped well, he went on to sleep well during the night (not that he ever slept through without interuption until many many many months later...)

Alita - isn't that just the way of it, worst night's sleep and then having to go to work the next morning. I'm so sorry you are going through that. Having to work when you have a baby/babies really is the pits, I can relate!

Dawn - hope that schedule of Olivia works! Isn't it wonderful (and a bit overwhelming) to have a newborn in your home?!

Jen - it is really hard working and caring for a baby. Congrats on the first full night of sleeping through, I hope there is many more ahead. Hopefully the helmet won't be necessary, although I've heard some good reports about them via my blog reading (never seen them used in Australia, although I'm sure they must be).

Carrie - good luck with being on your own. I'm sending you strength to handle two bubs on your own, may your nipples be fully healed and your milk plentiful...and may your babies sleep well and let you get some rest too! I'll be thinking of you.

Donna - I'm glad you are feeling better. Hey, we both have 4yo sons! Mind you I don't have twins on the way Is Austin talking much about becoming a big brother?

bamamoms - I can't imagine having two crawlers to watch after! YIKES!! Certainly the end of order in your house for quite a while! (we are just starting to get a bit of order in ours, now that Mason is 4yo)

Laura - the picking up never stops....if it's not picking up after your DP, it's picking up after your kid. I can't remember the last time I walked through the house without having to stop and pick something up, it drives me crazy! You'll get used to it...or NOT!!! sorry!!

My news - I took a tumble in a very public supermarket carpark (full of university students) and now my badly graised toes are infected and I can't wear any type of shoe and am on antibiotics! Luckily I didn't re-injure my knees or pelvis, but I do have a badly bruised arm and elbow. It's the toes that are the big problem though...who would have thought such small things could end up in so much pain! Mind you with the swelling, they aren't that small either!!
