Well ladies, I went this morning for my official "1st appt." DH went with me and I was so nervous. I dont' know why, I guess b/c this is all new to me, etc. Anyway, I had my u/s first thing and we got to see the heartbeat! It was such a wonderful experience. The tech said the heartbeat was 158. The doc said that everything is lining up with my LMP date and that everything is the size that it is expected to be. My next appt. is in 4 weeks. I'll try to post my u/s pic soon! This appointment was so calming, just seeing the difference from my first u/s which was done at 5 weeks (due to spotting) when you could hardly see anything.
