Shannon - I am so sorry that you are going through all that! Have they checked all your hormone levels? The reason I ask is that I had an elevated FSH which meant my ovaries were not producing a lot of eggs and the ones I was producing were not of great quality. They had me on high dosages of Gonal-F and other meds and I was lucky to produce 6 mature follicles of which only 2 were of any good quality.
I dont know what it is like to not have good doctors available as I live in MA but I have heard FL is terrible in certain parts. Are you able to find a doctor and maybe not tell them your lesbian? I hate to even say that but maybe you would get a better response as a single woman that wants to have a baby. I cant believe they are not available on Sunday's either! When I was doing the IUI's w/ my son you could go on a Sunday to another place but it cost $350 instead of $250.
I wish there was something I could say or do that would make it better but just know you are in my thoughts and prayers!
