Hmm ... could be cluster feeding, I don't know but I dont' see why that couldn't happen at night. Do you think she's having some reflux issues? Try putting a wedge under her mattress to raise her head while sleeping and see if that helps her sleep better. Irene slept better like that for a while because she would spit up and choke a little and that would wake her up, then she'd want to nurse to soothe herself.
