We have been friends foraround 8 years. Together 4, Civilly Unioned (Civilly United?) for almost 3. We had a commitment ceremony in 2005 never thinking it would be legal the next year. Then we made it "official"

What do you and your DP do?
I am an advocate for people who have intellectual disabilities...for the next 3 weeks then I'm going to be a SAHM. DP is a financial anylist. She thinks math is fun 
How long have you been TTCing?
I tried for about 1&1/2 years with no success. DP got it on the 5th try. So about 2&1/2 years total.
Have you always wanted children?
Since I was a little girl all I wanted was to be a mommy to a bunch of kids. DP on the other hand did not.
How many do you want? What sex?
I wanted a bunch of kids, but since this has been a long, strange & painful trip I'll take one!
Gender didn't matter at all to me, but DP really REALLY wanted a boy.
Do you have names already picked? What are they?
Caleb Atticus. Still deciding if we are going to use just my last name or hyphenate.
Tell us about your favorite vacation.
Hmmm... I LOVE to travel & do so whenever I can (which is going to be a lot less often now!) Oh, I know - we went to this tiny island off of St. Maarten for a week called Saba. All we did was read & eat - it was boring & perfect!
