Default Re: Success stories

Hello old Friends! I have neglected this board for too long! So I thought I would post my story.

DH and I decided to start TTC at the end of Jan. 07. I had been charting since Nov. 06 to get the hang of it and learn about my cys. Unfortunately, my cys were so crazy I couldn't even begin to find a pattern. AF would last up to 9 days, O would range from cd20 all the way to cd38!! With my LP lasting until 16dpo. Long LP's were the hardest, each time I would have a new sx around 14-15dpo I would get my hopes up sooo high, just to be crushed when AF arrived on 16-17dpo.

We decided to see about IF treatment in the fall of 07. With our insurance we had to attend a class before meeting with a dr. At this class we talked with a RN who decided something needed to be done. So finally, after an 89 day cy with no O I was prescribed a 5 day dose of Provera to induce AF.

After taking the Provera AF came and only lasted for 3 days, which seemed odd after almost 90 days of no bleeding. I started to get extreme EWCM cd5-7 and ended up Oing on cd7 (my shortest cy to date!). 13 days later on Oct.16, 07 I tested +!!!

So during our 9 months of TTC I had 6 cys, but only 4 were ovulatory. But it finally stuck!

Good luck ladies! You are all in my thoughts and prayers, TTC is probably one of the most stressful things a woman can experience. Morning sickness is pretty bad too, but the joy of being PG far out weighs the agony of your face in the toilet for 3 months!!
